This week on the program, we explore the book of Ephesians. A book regarding the Body of Christ, along with practical applications for us as Christians.
Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
“According to the power that works in us.” Do you want to know something cool? Christ lives within us. When are baptized for the remission of our sins, we die to our old selves. You see, our old selves are literally buried with Christ and in that water, our old selves die (Rom. 6:4). After we arise a new person, a new creation out of those waters of baptism (2 Cor. 5:17). And, the void that is left from all of our sin, shame, and guilt is filled by Jesus Christ with things that are new, things that allows us to walk in the newness of life. And, by living within us, Christ is able to work through us. I think that’s a blessing we overlook as Christians far too often. Today, let Christ live and work through you. Let Him use you to do extraordinary things in His kingdom.
