60 Seconds with God – Acts Week

Acts 10:34 says, “Then Peter opened his mouth and said: ‘In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.’”

God does not show partiality. What does that mean? It means that my soul is just as valuable as the soul next to me. It means that God looks down upon his greatest creation and does not have favorites. He doesn’t think one person is greater than another or one person is more valuable than the other. In the eyes of God, we are all equal in value and He shows that through impartial love.

How can we apply that to our lives? By treating each person we encounter as the valuable person they are. Jesus didn’t just die for you or your family, He died for all of us. But, how often do we bottle up God’s love? In other words, do you spread God’s love to everybody? Or, do you keep it to yourself and your sphere of influence? Today, open the bottle and release God’s love. Tell others about the value and love that God possess for them and show them, in the scriptures, how to redeem that value through eternal life.
