Acts 3:19 says, “Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted our, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”
Spring cleaning is one of my favorite times of year. It is a time when you can throw out all of the junk that clutters your house and sale it through yard sales or just give it away. It is a time of year when the house is clean, decluttered, and, well, it just looks so good. And, I don’t know about you, but that feeling feels pretty good too. The same goes for repentance. When we repent of our sins and we are baptized for the remission of those sins, it is a time in our life when all of the clutter has been removed from our life. It is also the best night’s sleep you will ever get. Through repentance, we spring clean our souls and declutter the sin in our life. Today, if you have sin in your life, repent of those sins and be baptized for the remission of those sins. Declutter those sins, once and for all.
