Romans 8:18 says, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
We get to caught up in things that are worldly. We do. We let the suffering, the pain, the hurt of this world get to us and effect our overall outlook on eternity, which we should share as Christians. But, we are human and being human comes with distorted perspective sometimes. However, what Paul is saying in this verse is simple: Don’t sweat the small stuff. Why? Because it is not worth it. It’s simple. The temporary world we live in is not worth risking the eternal home that awaits for us. Today, don’t sweat the small stuff and keep your eyes on the eternal prize.
