Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Let’s start with a question: What would you die for? Everybody has been asked this question from time to time, or pondered about this question from time to time. Some would say God. Some would say their country. Some would say their family. But, let me ask you this: Would you die for a sinner? In other words, if you were to randomly select a stranger off the street, a sinner who did not know God, would you die for that person? Probably not. That is what makes Jesus sacrifice so special. He died for the entirety of mankind, even those who mocked, hated, and despised Him, so that those same people had the opportunity to live with Him for eternity. That is the definition of love and sacrifice. Today, think about the magnitude of Jesus’ sacrifice and how it affects you.
